Workspace structure
Use categories to organize text and voice channels. Give channels clear names and descriptions. Remove unused rooms carefully after confirming any retention or community needs.
Members, roles, and permissions
- Grant only the permissions a role needs.
- Keep the fixed owner role under the account you control.
- Review high-privilege roles after membership changes.
- Use invitations intentionally and revoke links that should no longer work.
Moderation
Publish community rules, apply them consistently, and document important actions. Use the provided member and message controls. Report abuse or illegal material through Support; do not copy illegal files or expose private data in a ticket.
Integrations and webhooks
Treat webhook URLs as secrets. Give each integration only its intended channel scope, rotate a URL after suspected exposure, and remove integrations you no longer use.
Voice, video, and files
Voice and screen sharing are permission-controlled workspace features. Remind members before sharing a screen. Review attachments before opening them and do not use BeKord as the only copy of irreplaceable files.
Provider admin vs. workspace admin
The BeKord provider Admin panel is not a customer workspace feature. It is restricted to the service owner and requires a fresh password and 2FA check. Workspace administrators should use Manage Server and their assigned permissions.
Escalation
Use Support for incidents, privacy requests, ownership recovery, abuse, security reports, and beta feedback. Save the reference number shown after submission.
